Home to the same family since 1712, Breteuil unfolds across 75 hectares of parkland, with formal gardens designed by Achille Duchêne and some sixty wax figures re-enacting Puss in Boots, Tom Thumb and Sleeping Beauty. It is a full family day out, and the gardens alone are worth the walk.
